Christmas Toy Appeal
While we've been hard at work spreading the magic of Christmas to our guests, we're all aware that times are tough for so many families in Haringey this year. That's why we decided to support Wood Green Salvation Army, whose annual Toy Appeal ensures that children whose families might not be able to afford presents still receive a gift at Christmas.
Our guests, retailers and staff all had the opportunity to donate a toy, and on 13th December 2022 we delivered a trolley full of gifts, ready to be distributed to local families. The Salvation Army work closely with Haringey Social Services to ensure the toys reach those most in need. This year, they were able to collect and distribute an amazing 1,640 Christmas presents!
