4) Drawing - Check out the various videos on Kids YouTube that will help you step by step to draw some of your favourite characters. Just search Kids YouTube, and type draw in the search bar
5) Homemade postcards - How about colouring, drawing or decorate your own postcard for that personal touch. You could always cut a cereal box down to size and decorate. Then put the address and pop it in the post. You never know you might get one back!
6) Get out and about - When you go for your daily exercise why not add a fun element like seeing how many birds nests or squirrels you can see. Or take it in turns to come up with silly walks or even mark the gardens you pass out of 10…just don’t tell the owners.
7) Get Colouring - The Malls Monster Friends club has lots of colouring and activities find it here
8) Creation Station - We are back on YouTube again as The Creation Station team have come to the rescue again with loads of crafts with instructions. We love the paper planes one so simple but fun.
9) Out and about - There are lots of great places in and around Maidstone to explore. One of our favourites is Mote Park, you can pop there for a walk or bike ride. It’s perfect for a picnic or for those more adventurous, there are lots of outdoor activities for the whole family. Choose from Sky Trail, Climbing Wall and Segway Terrain, and finish off your visit with a fun 9 holes of Dino Golf. Click here for more details
