World Book Day 2nd March 2023

We all know children love World Book Day and it is fast approaching! 

Here at the Mall Maidstone we are here to help.  Remember that the day is all about promoting the pleasure of reading. Therefore, it might be getting them and yourself excited about dressing up as a character to read the story, or curling up in your PJ’s and slippers to read together.

For Dressing up, we recommended a visit to the Matalan.co.uk with prices starting at £16.    

Your little person could dress up as one of their favourite book characters. For the girls they have Red Riding Hood, Mary Poppins or our sweet Matilda, we must not forget our Disney Princess dresses either.  For the boys, they have the choice of Harry Potter or Where's Wally, or possibly they prefer Batman or another Marvel character and of course, it would not be World Book Day without a Hungry Caterpillar outfit.
