World book Day 4th March 2021

We all know children love World Book Day and it is fast approaching!

Here at the Mall Maidstone we are here to help.  Remember that the day is all about promoting the pleasure of reading.  Therefore, it might be getting them and yourself excited about dressing up as a character to read the story, so curling up in your PJ’s and slipper to read.

For Dressing up, we recommended a visit to the Matalan.co.uk with prices starting at £14 (with free delivery on orders £40 great time to order that new school uniform too).  You little person could be a Disney princess whether its an original like Belle or Cinderella for maybe Anna or Else from Frozen.  For the boys, they have the choice of Marvel characters like Iron Man or Black Panther.    Possibly, they prefer Batman or a dinosaur and of course, it would not be World Book Day without a Happy Potter outfit.  Here are our top picks

Now if its books you are after we highly recommend theworks.co.uk, they have something for everyone.  The complete Harry Potter collection for just £40 or maybe you would prefer the 6 books collection of Diary of a Wimpy Kid for just £15.  It’s defiantly worth a visit as they have so many offers.  Our favourites are the 10 picture books for £10 and the 3 fiction books for £5.  Don’t forget they are lots of offers on Adult books too!
