Top 10 activities for the Half Term.

 1. Pick your own fruit and veg.

There are many farms and orchards all over Kent where you can go and pick your own fruit and vegetables. This allows your little ones to have fun whilst picking the produce but, also teaches them where it comes from and encourages them to eat healthy and try some of the foods they have picked.

2. Download and try the Pokémon Go app.

This activity can be enjoyed by both children and adults just download the Pokémon go app on your phone and follow the map to try to find and catch all the Pokémon characters. This encourages you to keep healthy by going for walks outside but, also allows you to have fun whilst trying to capture and battle the virtual monsters.

3. Get half price entry to Sea life.

4. Visit Kent Life.

5. Visit Maidstone Museum

From Saturday 25th May – Sunday 2nd June visit Maidstone Museum and take part in Spike’s Dino Trail. Follow the dinosaur trail to find the secret phrase and claim a prize. Available all day for only £1 per child.

6. Take part in the Zog activity trail at Bedgebury National Pinetum.

Walk or cycle the 1.1mile activity trail and follow the trail markers through the woods to follow the story, collect stars and complete challenges along the way. You can also pick up an activity pack for £3 from the Visitor Centre which includes a special lens which reveals hidden pictures along the trail, a booklet with fun activities, and a Zog mask to get those perfect trail selfies.

7. Visit Dreamland Margate.

Dreamland in Margate is ideal for all ages. Not only do they have rides for the bigger kids, you can also go roller skating, climb aboard the Dreamland ark and meet the parks resident fluffy rabbits, mysterious reptiles and much more…

8. Visit Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf in Tonbridge.

Perfect for all of the family visit this dinosaur themed adventure golf in Tonbridge where you can play the course surrounded by your favourite dinosaurs and different Jurassic themes. And, if you want to get a little practice in beforehand you can visit the Driving Range just opposite to master the perfect shot just before the big game.

9. Visit a Trampoline Park.

With Gravity Trampoline Park in Maidstone at Lock Meadow or Flip Out Trampoline Park in Ashford there are many options if you want to take either the little ones or the big kids out to let off some steam and have a bounce around.

10. Take the family bowling.

Visit Hollywood Bowl at Lock Meadow in Maidstone and see who is the best at bowling with a heated competition or just for fun it is something everyone from the advanced bowlers to the very beginners can enjoy.
