Maidstone businesses proudly supporting local produce

Maidstone Celebrates Local with MAIDFEST – 1st to 31st May

Maidstone’s vibrant food and drink scene is taking centre stage this May as Maidfest 2025 returns! Organised by One Maidstone BID, the month-long celebration will spotlight local businesses that champion locally sourced ingredients, helping to promote sustainable, high-quality food and drink across the town.

From independent cafés to restaurants, and bars, Maidfest aims to highlight the best locally produced goods while driving more customers to businesses that support the region’s growers, farmers, and producers.

MAIDFEST, supported by One Maidstone BID, is all about putting local first - look out for "Proud supporters of local produce" stickers in business windows across Maidstone, showing where you can eat, drink, and shop local.

“We’re excited to bring the town together in celebration of our brilliant local supply chain,” says Michelle Woodland, CEO, One Maidstone. “It’s about more than food — it’s about community and supporting the local economy.”

If your business sources local food and drink, join Maidfest today and be part of a town-wide celebration of fresh, sustainable, and locally produced goods!
