When something breaks or wears out, it’s always tempting to buy new, but it's often cheaper and more environmentally friendly to get it repaired instead. We’ve got lots of amazing makers and menders in our Market Hall, who can help save you money and bring your valuable belongings back to life.
Nida Needles
Owned by Murat Boga, Nida Needles can fix all kinds of rips and tears and they're experts at alterations too, so whether your favourite outfit needs a little love or you've bagged a vintage bargain that needs adjusting, Murat and his talented team will make sure it’s as good as new, and you get the perfect fit first time!

Neil Electrics
Another of our longstanding retailers, Kish and Roma have been running Neil Electrics for over 30 years. Much like Harry Potter, the duo started out in a tiny cupboard under the stairs but then expanded into a bigger unit in 1995 when the Market Hall was refurbished. An Aladdin’s cave of electricals, they have over 500 types of vacuum bags in stock and specialise in light bulbs, batteries, heaters, fans, cables, DIY products and vacuum cleaner spares.
The fabulous team includes qualified engineers, who are trained to carry out repairs to all makes of vacuum cleaners, as well as lamps, audio equipment and even Nutribullets!

Smart Phones and Computers
Tech troubles? From screens to software, Smart Phones and Computers has you covered. Run by Rizwan Khan, they’re experts in all things techy and super-friendly too, so if you need a replacement screen, fancy a new phone cover or you’re panicking because your laptop won’t turn on – head straight to our Market Hall and they’ll get you back up and running again in a jiffy.

Tick Tock
A Market Hall favourite since 1991, Tick Tock is owned by watch specialist, Faruk Pandor. Not only do they have a gorgeous range of watches and gift sets, but they’re also experts at repairing them too. Their services include crown and bezel replacement, dial restoration and strap replacement. They’re also dab hands at replacing watch glass, so if yours is broken, don’t throw it away, bring it down to Tick Tock instead.

Wood Green Cobbler
Meet Mark Spurling of Beyoncé fame. Yes, our very own Wood Green Cobbler was responsible for repairing her dancers’ boots last time she was in town. When he’s not working for global stars, you’ll find Mark replacing heels and soles, cutting keys and selling laces, lighters, watch straps and batteries from his busy unit in our Market Hall.
Originally from Hornsea, Mark started working at the Market Hall in 1989 and loved it so much, he bought the business 10 years ago.

Have you used any of our repair specialists? If so, spread the word – word-of-mouth recommendations are worth their weight in gold!
Next month we’ll be looking at clothing retailers so if you do need something new, check back in to find out what’s on offer.
