Waiting staff are key team players whose primary responsibility it to manage the total guest experience which includes-meet and greet, accurate order taking, food service and a warm farewell. He/she should ensure that the standards of hospitality are met at all times.
Warmly welcome and greet all guests coming to the restaurant and ensure that menu is explained
To take the food orders and ensure that they are accurate
Generate additional sales by engaging with guests and upselling food products and develop and nurture long lasting relationships with guests.
To stock and maintain all food items in the front of house area during operation.
To ensure when food is served to the table it is done within our standards.
Respond to queries and questions of guests with emotional intelligence and present the policies, regulations of the restaurant when required.
To make sure that the front of house area is kept clean at all times (tables, chairs, drinks station, floor etc). Follow a clean as you go regime at the restaurant.
Handle various types of customer complaints, customer illness, and spills or report them to the restaurant manager.
Job holder will be required to attend training courses, company meetings and other team events.
Must be able to deal with money, currencies and coins
Observe business etiquette and confidentiality at all times
Adhere to all mystery shopper requirements
To comply with any other reasonable requests by a member of the management team.
