RAISING CHILDREN IN THE 21st CENTURY

The Godwin Lawson foundation will be hosting its first Parent peer-to-peer workshop on 23rd October 2019, at the Mall Management suite.

Raising children in the 21st century can be extremely challenging with increased risk. The Mall cares Charity of the Year – The Godwin Lawson foundation has been working towards supporting families to prevent youth crime.

GLF aims to bring parents together so that they can support each other and keep their children safe. The workshop is designed to help parents who are concerned that their children are at risk or who are worried about the behaviour and relationships.

The parent training includes guidance for kids who maybe at the risk of:

  • Knife crime gang affiliation
  • Peer pressure
  • County lines
  • Exclusions
  • Transition from primary to secondary school.

It is only once parents Talk, Listen & Unite, can we reach our goal of preventing knife crime.
