GLF aims to bring parents together so that they can support each other and keep their children safe. The workshop is designed to help parents who are concerned that their children are at risk or who are worried about the behaviour and relationships.
The parent training includes guidance for kids who maybe at the risk of:
- Knife crime gang affiliation
- Peer pressure
- County lines
- Transition from primary to secondary school.
It is only once parents Talk, Listen & Unite, can we reach our goal of preventing knife crime.
Losing my 17 year old to knife crime is the most devastating and traumatic experience any mother can endure. I am committed in creating a safer community for all, Says Yvonne Lawson, founder of the Godwin Lawson foundation.
