In celebration of Small Business Saturday on 7 December, which is now in its 12th year, we wanted to share some of our favourite independent retailers and show you why shopping small is the way forward this Christmas.
Anne’s Florist
We love nothing better than a seasonal display and Anne’s Florist in our Market Hall has the best blooms around. Whether you’re looking for a homemade wreath, a table centrepiece, a Christmas present for a friend or simply a bunch of flowers to bring some festive joy to your home, the staff at Anne’s always go above and beyond, and know just what to recommend.

If you’re looking for unique, fresh cosmetics, handmade with love in the UK, and want to support a rather brilliant local business, we’d recommend Brush Europe.
