FREE SUMMER FUN!

Celebrate the Summer holiday at The Mall Maidstone with our FREE Summer activities, designed for kids of all ages.

The activities will run from July 21st until September 1st and will change every week, starting with rock painting and ending with building superhero rockets. Children will also be able to get their face painted every Friday!

We will also be hiding rocks around The Mall, once a rock has been found take it in to our Ask Me More and you will receive a prize!

Face Painting

Our brilliant face painters can cover everything children might want, whether it’s Disney characters, flowers or spooky ghosts.

 

Saturday, July 21st – Thursday, July 26th

Rock Painting

Children will be able to paint and draw on rocks, either following one of the 30 designs provided or letting their creativity flow. Once painted they may take them home or drop them off to our Ask Me Point who will then hide them around The Mall. Once they have been found, return them back to the Ask Me Point where you will receive a prize!

 

Saturday, July 28th – Thursday, August 2nd

Ceramic Painting

Children will be able to decorate their own ceramic pots using our colourful designs, materials and paints.

 

Saturday, August 6th – Thursday, August 9th

Gaming event – alongside our VR Roadshow

We’ll build an experience zone for gamers and dancers so that families can stop and play. ‘In The Groove’, our latest dance installation, allows players to dance to a huge selection of music videos, accumulating points by timing their dance steps perfectly.

 

VR Roadshow (from August 3rd – August 8th) 

We’ll be bringing our unique VR pods to our customers for 6 days, allowing them to experience Virtual Reality in a series of games. We will have games to suit all ages, so it’s the perfect family day out!

 

Saturday, August 11th – Thursday, August 16th

Lego Building

Children will be able to make their own LEGO creation guided by staff on site. We’ll provide design templates for children and parents to copy. Each participant will be able to take their creation home

 

Saturday, August 18th – Thursday, August 23rd

Dinosaurs & Reptiles.

We’ll build an interactive, soft play area where children can find fossils, create their own drawings and excavate an area like a modern-day Indiana Jones.

 

Saturday, August 25th – Thursday, August 30th

Superhero Rockets.

Children will be able to make their own rocket backpack to take home with them – shiny, flashy and completely customisable!
