Christmas Grotto is back!

Santa Claus and his Elves are coming back to the Mall Maidstone right in time for Christmas!
Santa will arrive from the North Pole on Saturday, November 17th and parade around Earl Street and Week Street in his sleigh before settling in his new Grotto around mid-day. He will meet and greet children every day until Christmas Eve, when he will take off again to distribute presents around the world.
The cast of the Maidstone Pantomime’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be present on November 17th to welcome Santa to his new home.
Entry to the Grotto is £5 per child and includes a gift provided by the Mall Maidstone. At least £2 of every entry will be donated to the Mall Cares’ 2019 charity. Parents are also be invited to buy an extra present when shopping at the Mall and donate it to our Giving Tree appeal. The presents collected will be given to children who may not receive a present this year.
Located on the Bridge on the Upper Level of The Mall Maidstone, near Next and BonMarché, the Grotto will be open every day of the week:
- From 11am until 5pm, Mondays to Fridays,
- 10am until 5pm on Saturdays,
- 10:30am until 4.30pm on Sundays.
On top of meeting Santa, children will also be able to get their face painted every Saturday with all donations will go to the Mall Cares’ 2018 Charity, Heart of Kent Hospice.
The Mall Maidstone is also organising a Christmas Bauble Colouring competition, for a chance to win a £25 Gift Card from the Mall. To take part in the competition, children and their parents are invited to visit the Ask Me More unit.
