January Blues

This time of year can be particularly challenging for some people. The hopes of a fresh start with the new year may also remind them of the daily struggles they face, such as chronic illness, the loss of relationships, grief, financial difficulties, and unfulfilled dreams. The cold weather can lead some individuals to withdraw and seek more personal space.

It's important to ask the question, “How are you? No, really.” Reach out to someone you know and trust, or express your own needs to them. If that feels too overwhelming or uncomfortable, consider finding support for yourself, or help direct someone else to it.

Here are some used for sessions Mid Kent Mind are running.
