The Big Trunk Trail is here!

The Big Trunk Trail has launched and is the biggest, most unique outdoor public art event Luton’s ever seen. There are over 30 vibrant elephants that you can see for free at the family friendly art trail around the town’s key landmarks. We are proud to be Artistic Partner for the trail.

This event is brought to you by Keech Hospice Care in partnership with Wild in Art, and each large elephant has been sponsored by a business and each has been designed by an artist. There are elephants sponsored by Luton Town Football Club, University of Bedfordshire and Whipsnade Zoo, and Love Luton are the Project Presenting Partner for the overall trail, whilst Luton BID is Trail Progress Partner.

A special map has been created to guide people around the trail.  Copies are available (with a suggested £1 donation) in a number of places including The Keech Hospice Care Park Street shop, Luton Central Library, The Big Trunk Trail “gift shop” in The Mall and at the Ask Me Point in The Mall.  The map can also be followed in the Interactive Fun section of the special Keech Connect app which is packed with useful and fun elements. Find where the elephants are, how to get to them and how long it will take. Download the app through your app store (Keech Connect) and start tracking your progress as well as unlocking some great deals.
