St George's Day 2019

Luton Council is planning a dragontastic St George's Day this year, filling St George's Square with dragon themed activities and attractions for the whole family, including

  • Dragon colouring
  • Making shields and swords
  • Punch and Judy
  • Free cream teas
  • Giant deckchairs
  • Wall climbing
  • Caving trails
  • Balloon modelling
  • Dragon arts & crafts

Take part in interactive adventures with the pirate knight Sir Aurelious Jones, saving him from Epico the Dragon, and have a go on the beautiful wooden musical installation, George the Dragon, operating handles to make him blow bubbles and play music.

Next Generation Youth Theatre will also be performing two dance pieces.

St George's Day starts at 11am in St George's Square on Saturday 20th April 2019, and will run until 6pm.
