Sunday 20th October 9am – 10am
We would like to open this event before hours on Sunday 20th October for children with special sensory needs, and any other needs, to ensure no one misses out on the opportunity to explore this fun event.
During this time, although the centre will be open to the general public, shops will be closed creating a much quieter and more relaxing environment. There will be no background music and there will be staff on hand to ensure any questions/needs are fulfilled. The centre shops don't open until 11am, so it is not expected to start being busy until after the quiet event's advertised finishing time, but please be aware the centre's entrances will be unlocked from 9am.
The event will probably take around 30 minutes to complete – but this is dependent on the age and ability range of the children and how much time you wish to spend looking at each of the models. Families are welcome to arrive in centre any time from 9am onwards to collect a trail guide.
Please visit the Ask Me Point on arrival to collect your trail guide - this is located in the middle of The Mall between Ernest Jones, Beaverbrooks and Chopstix.
Parking is free for this event from 8.30am – 10.30am. Please bring your chip coin to the Ask Me Point where it will be validated by our team.
There is no planned fire alarm. If an alarm sounds, please exit using the nearest entrance or find a member of The Mall team, who will assist you.
If you have any specific requirements you would like to discuss, or you require further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01582 412636 and ask for Lavinia.
