Free family entertainment at St George’s celebration day

Luton Council is encouraging residents to celebrate St George’s Day in Luton with a free, fun-packed event for all the family.

On Saturday 22 April, St George’s Square will come alive from 11am – 5pm with a day of entertainment and activities in the public square named after the Patron Saint of England.

There are lots of activities taking place during the day including a children’s craft marquee, magic show, water zorbing, climbing wall, Punch and Judy and an appearance by St George and his dragon. There will also be traditional Morris dancing, a Knight challenge and face painting.

The ongoing success of London Luton Airport has made it possible for the Council’s wholly-owned company London Luton Airport Ltd (LLAL) to generously offer to sponsor the event, as a way of acknowledging the support it receives from local residents.
