Veganuary Skincare Products
Your New Skincare Regime
As the temperatures continue to drop this January, show your skin some love and extra TLC and get ready to GLOW-UP!
Winter is well and truly here and so come a host of skincare issues. From dry skin and chapped lips, to a dull grey tone and now mask induced breakouts… there’s an array of problems just cropping up everywhere!
Luckily, here at The Mall we’ve picked out some of the best Vegan products this Veganuary to make sure your complexion glows all winter long!
Now we know this isn’t directly related to skin, but it certainly does matter! The days are darker and due to most of us working from home, we’re not even getting the 5-minute walk to work glow resulting in us receiving even less vitamin D!
It’s therefore important to make sure you’re taking your daily dose of Vitamin D! We love these Vegan Vitamin D3 tablets available from Boots for £6 (3-month supply).
Keep your skin as hydrated as possible with face mist. We suggest leaving it by your desk and have a quick spritz throughout the day. This Vegan Rose Dewy Glow from The Body Shop ticks all the boxes.
Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate!
If you have dry skin you might think the last thing to do is to exfoliate... Well you’d be very wrong! Gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells and reveals that fresh baby skin underneath, plus it also helps with unblocking pores and helps to prevent those nasty breakouts!
Try out Murad Age Reform AHA-BHA exfoliating cleanser.
200ml. Now just £34.20 from Debenhams
Try to opt for a cleanser that is soap-free and these are less likely to dry your skin out further. We’d suggest using more of an oil-based cleanser to help hydrate skin whilst washing away the dirt!
We love this Organic Konjac Skin Cleansing Sponge from Garnier available in Superdrug.
Use the sponge daily on your face to deeply cleanse, soften and gently renew skin!
It’s an absolute steal at just £5.99 too!
It may come as no surprise but moisturising in the colder months is very important. Switching to a heavier moisturiser can really help make sure you keep those oils well and truly locked in the skin. However, we suggest using a lighter version in the day and a heavier moisturiser in the night.
We’ve picked out ‘Cosmetic Lad’ from Lush for the day. It’s a great product for both dry and mildly oily skin and sinks into the skin FAST!
£18 for 45g
This REN Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm from Holland & Barrett feeds your skin with lipids from Olive, Almond, Borage and Linseed oils that have been activated to be easily absorbed into the skin to intensely nourish and moisturise whilst you sleep when the skin's own regenerative process takes place.
So that’s it - our top 6 Vegan friendly skincare products to help your skin through the colder months! We can’t wait to see you glow – even if it’s on Facetime!
