Charity starts at The Mall Blackburn

25th Jan - 28th Feb

After a hugely successful partnership with Cash for Kids during 2017 we are looking for another deserving charity to support as part of our popular Mall Cares programme.

Management are currently finalising the total amount raised during 2017 from activities including bucket collections, awareness raising events and supporting win your wedding and the annual Mission Christmas.

In addition, The Mall organised a special festive treat for children and their parents from the Wish Centre in Blackburn, which is supported by Cash for Kids and provides a safe haven for people that have suffered domestic abuse.

Charities that would like to be considered should complete the online application to outline how they would make the most of the partnership and what ideas they have to raise funds and awareness within the shopping centre.

Lancashire Mind, Nightsafe, Blackburn Youth Zone, Inbetweenears and East Lancashire Hospice have all previously been supported through the ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative.

Local organisations can download the application form here and submit by sending it to or alternatively a paper copy can be collected from the Ask Me Point.

The closing date is midnight on Wednesday 28th February and the partnership will start in March 2018.
