4th Jun

DrumaSphere run facilitated community drum circles - each drum circle event is as unique as the individuals who take part on the day.

DrumaSphere will hold an event at The Mall Walthamstow on:

Sunday 4th June between 2pm - 4pm.

This is a culturally non-specific drum circle and we hope that all members of Waltham Forest's wonderfully diverse community will come and join in to celebrate the opening weekend of the art trail and to come together to make some great rhythms.

No previous experience is necessary just a willingness to take part and work together.  We can accommodate around 30+ people per circle but over the two hours people will come and go, so please do come along and join in the fun.   All drums and percussion are provided by DrumaSphere

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult - 1 adult per child - those over 10 years old may join in unaccompanied, we are family friendly but this is not a children's event.

Gill is a music tutor with years of experience working with adults with learning difficulties and older people with dementia - she is a musician - playing guitar, ukulele, harmonica and percussion and is a song writer and singer too.   Kirsty is a percussionist and singer and workshop leader.

Both have studied drum circle facilitation with Arthur Hull as well as recently completing the Rhythm to Recovery course with Simon Faulkner and Music as Medicine with Christine Stevens.

Come and join in with DrumaSphere - drumming together is fun!
