About Yankee Candle
It all started with a gift for mum............
In 1969 teenager Mike Kitteridge moulded a milk carton candle with his childhood crayons as a gift for his mother.
On the advice from a neighbour he went on to make more candles which he sold.
From this humble beginning Yankee Candle was born.
Today, Yankee Candle is the leader of the scented candle industry, setting the standards for candle makers Worldwide!

At Perfect Scents we are a family run business, and are proud to be Southampton's main independent approved Yankee Retailer!
In our shop we stock 70 fragrances and an extensive range of accessories.
We offer a presonal service in store, should you need any helpin choosing a fragrance or a suitable gift, then alway feel free to ask for our help.
We can also make up gift baskets to order for all those special occasions for your loved ones.
Also available in store are our made to order wedding favours, these make lovely and personal gifts to commemorate your special day, ideal for guests, bridesmaids or even the bride and grooms parents.
Within our store we also stock an exellent range of quality glassware, vases, wall scones and hurricane lamps.
We are stockists of a beautiful range of recycled glasswear, which is both eye catching and eco friendly.

We operate a Loyalty Scheme for our Customers in store. When you spend over £10.00 on Yankee Products you will recive "Perfect Scents" stamps on your Loyalty Card. When you have accumulated 10 stamps on your Loyalty card, the Card is worth £10.00 to spend in our Store on Yankee Products. So don't miss out, ask to join the scheme when you visit us.
