What's on - New shops now open in The Mall

Shoppers at The Mall will enjoy an enhanced retail offering with the opening of three new stores.
Java is a Norfolk based independent family firm known for its philosophy of products that offer 'affordable quality, ethically sourced'. This includes hand-made furniture made from ethically sourced mango wood, as well as ceramics, lighting and a wide range of interior accessories. The new store, which is in the right hand unit adjacent to the Castle Meadow entrance, opened its doors to shoppers for the first time this week.

Punkyfish, a dynamic clothing brand, which has a reputation for affordable designer clothing and has stores nationwide and in Europe, is set to open this weekend in the unit next to the Perfume Shop on level one. Both retailers previously had outlets at Chapelfield shopping centre in Norwich.

Another new store, Modelzone is due to open opposite Java in mid August. Modelzone offers everything for the model enthusiast under one roof, from the latest high quality radio controlled helicopters, trucks, fire engines and cars, to Airfix model kits, Scalextric sets and collectibles.

The Mall's marketing manager Victoria Haverson, said "We attribute this latest good news and success to the hard work and commitment from everyone within the team at The Mall. Our lettings team work very closely with those retailers we are keen to welcome to The Mall and we place our customers firmly at the centre of everything that we do and try to create a lively and entertaining environment for our shoppers which is a pleasant and enjoyable place to shop. We also hope of course that this is a reinforcement of a slow but steady recovery in the local retail economy as a whole."
Victoria adds, "The next few months are looking really exciting at The Mall and we hope this is just the first piece of good news that we will have to announce for Norwich shoppers.
