What's on - Luton has heart: Support The Keech Hospice in The Mall Luton and win a £50 card
30 July, 2010
We know that the people of Luton have big hearts, but local shoppers now have the chance to prove it! The Herald & Post and The Mall Luton are joining forces to support the local Keech Hospice, in the 'Luton Has Heart' competition, which will see one lucky person win a £50 card from The Mall.
The 'Luton Has Heart' competition will be launched at midday on Thursday 5th August in Smith's Square in the shopping centre, and will see one special child from Keech Hospice lay the very first heart message on to the floor. Kain, a young patient from the hospice, will be accompanied by his mother, brother and staff from the Hospice for this special launch. So join the crowd this Thursday and be one of the first to help build up the giant heart by donating your message.
Simply cut out the red square in page 2 of The Herald and Post, fill in your name, telephone number and a message for the hospice and take it down to the Ask Me point in The Mall Luton at any time before Sunday 22 August 2010.
Your square will make up part of a giant heart laid out on the floor of the Mall, and your name will go into a lucky dip. The winning entry will be drawn at midday on Monday 23 August next to the heart in Smiith's Square (outside M&S). The winning entry will win a cool £50 Spend ME card - perfect for summer holiday shopping.
There is no entry fee however we hope that everyone who participates will make a donation to the Keech Hospice. The lucky winner will be announced in the H&P on Thursday 26th August.
Ends.
