What's on - Mr Potato Heads in The Mall Luton

19 July, 2010

The Mall Luton is inviting children to a very special Funday Sunday event on 25th July 2010, to carve, create (but hopefully not eat!) their very own 'Mr and Mrs Potato Heads' using REAL potatoes, in celebration of the long awaited release of the new Toy Story 3 film in 3D!

The action will take place in Melson Square, just outside Mothercare in The Mall Luton, between 11am and 4pm. The Mall monster will also be around to help with the arts and crafts as well as giving out free gifts to the first 100 children who take part in the free activities.

Fans of the Toy Story films, produced by Disney Pixar, will be delighted with the release of the third instalment on 19th July when they will have the chance to see Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang back for another great adventure - but this time in 3D.

"I don't know what the kids will be more excited about - the beginning of the summer holidays, our Funday Sunday Kids' Club, or the new Toy Story film", says Lavinia Holland, Marketing Manager for The Mall Luton. "I'm sure the children will love making their very own Mr Potato heads, we can't wait to see all the versions!"

Funday Sundays occur on the last Sunday of each month between 11am and 4pm and are FREE for all children to participate. At the next event on August 29th 2010, children will be decorating 100% cotton pencil cases, just in time for heading back to school!
