What's on - Happy Kids and Mad Hatters in The Mall Luton
29 March, 2010
If you were in The Mall Luton last weekend, you may have noticed that the local shopping centre was full of mad hatters. No, this wasn't part of the set for the latest Alice in Wonderland film, it was all due to the extra special Funday Sunday Kids Club! In true Luton style, children got to design their very own Easter Bonnets to celebrate Spring and Easter.
The superb selection of headwear was produced by the creative children, which was an impressive site. The afternoon was a great success and was finished off with a visit from the famous Mall Monster! To reward all the children for their hard work and inspiring creations, he gave every child a soft toy bunny.
Lavinia Holland, marketing manager of The Mall said, "Children thoroughly enjoyed this month's Funday Sunday; as always they got to take something home with them to show to their family and friends and the Easter and Alice in Wonderland themes definitely put a spring in their step! It was also lovely to see some familiar faces from previous Funday Sunday's but also to welcome all the new ones that came along."
Funday Sunday is FREE for all children to join and happens on the last Sunday of each month, the next event is on St Georges day, on Sunday 25th April, where children will be invited to plant seeds in bio-degradable pots to take home.
Ends.
