What's on - Kids, Robin Hood and Maid Marion all at The Mall Luton!

19 April, 2010

Robin Hood and his Merry Men will be taking over The Mall Luton on Sunday 25th April as children are invited to make their very own Robin Hood hats and Maid Marion crowns at the next FREE Funday Sunday Kids Club event! The Mall Luton will be hosting the event between 11am and 4pm in Melson Square in celebration of the new Robin Hood film release.

The Mall Luton is inviting all children to the fourth Funday Sunday event where they can use their creativity and sparkling imaginations to make their own crowns and headwear using feathers, jewels, beads, sequins and anything else they can get their hands on to make their headgear as impressive as possible!

To make the day extra special, the Mall Monster and his team will be on hand to help mini merry men and women make Sherwood Forest headgear to take home and show their friends and family, and will even give the first 100 kids a surprise gift!

"The story of Robin Hood is such a classic tale that gets retold with each generation," says Lavinia Holland, marketing manager of The Mall, "with the UK film release on 4th May, it's nice to have a bit of topical fun with the kids. I can't wait to see what they come up with and say hello to all the regular faces and the new families that come along."

Funday Sundays occur on the last Sunday of each month between 11am and 4pm and is completely free for all children to participate - at the next event on Sunday May 30th, children will be making bespoke photo cards for Father's Day.
