Sales of nuts and seeds and dried fruit will reached record levels this year, as a guilt free snack popularity has grown according to new market research.

UK consumers will this year spend around £20 million on seeds. The dried fruit market has risen by 56 per cent, but sales of peanuts has shrunk by 45 in the last five years, people are now opting for healthier options of Brazil nuts, walnuts, and almonds sales of which have risen to £189 million this year.
