What's on - EnviroMall at Edgware
EnviroMall is a partnership between The Mall and leading environmental organisations in the UK. The partners are working together to devise an accreditation scheme to reduce the impact of shopping centres on the environment.
Through accreditation and continually working to improve standards, the ultimate goal is to achieve a Self Sustainable Specification - S3 - at all shopping centres.
The EnviroMall initiative will:
- Develop the accreditation toolkit and support all shopping centres to achieve the endorsed accreditation
- Be developed by a partnership of environmental leaders to ensure the latest knowledge, technology and techniques are fully utilised
- Build on existing procedures and the excellent work done to drive towards Self Sustainable Specification - S3
