What's on - Mother's Day Portrait Competition
The Mall Edgware would like to congratulate two winners and one runner-up for our Mother's Day Portrait Competition 2007.
A number of local schools in and around Edgware were given the opportunity to draw their Mum's portraits and win a fantastic prize.
The competition was open to children aged between 7 and 12 and they were able to portray their Mothers in whatever materials they liked. This included felt tips, paint, crayons, collage, even computer generated graphics.
A wide range of amazing portraits were created, making judging extremely difficult. However, two winners were finally chosen as well as one runner up. Congratulations to:
Estefania De Mello, aged 11, St Vincent's School
Zainab Saadat, aged 9, Edgware Junior School
Nicole Benjamin, aged 9, Edgware Junior School
Each winner received a £25.00 gift voucher for themselves, a £25.00 gift voucher for their Mothers, creative balloons and their original portrait back in a frame.
