What's on - Sponsored Walk Begins at the Mall Edgware

On Saturday 22nd March 2008, over 35 children took part in a sponsored walk to help raise funds and awareness for the 'Kye Kye Hope Trust.'  The walk took place at the Mall Edgware and ended in McDonald's in Stanmore.

The charity is a non-profit making organisation which was set up when Raquaya - nicknamed 'Kye Kye' - had her life changed forever when encephalitis took over.

Kye Kye had joined the thousands of other special children who have been severely let down by the lack of available resources and facilities needed to help in the crucial rehabilitation which could lead to a better quality of life.
The aim of the trust is to raise funds to further Kye Kye's rehabilitation which will enable her to lead a better quality of life as she grows.  Without this, Kye Kye may never reach her full potential or be able to do most of the simple things in life that you and I may take for granted.
