Each year, The Mall Blackburn supports local charities by raising much needed funds. The Mall also support other charities by offering discounted promotional space within the centre and allowing regular collections. Charities such as Help for Heroes, Guide Dogs, Salvation Army, Nightsafe, The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, Dogs Trust, WWF, Missing People and many more have all benefited from this...

In 2006 The Mall Blackburn helped to raise £8,906

In 2007 The Mall Blackburn helped to raise £36,330

In 2008 The Mall Blackburn helped to raise £35,024

In 2009 The Mall Blackburn helped to raise £34,653

In 2010  The Mall Blackburn helped to raise over £180,000

In 2011 The Mall Blackburn's target is £55,000

In the last four years, you have helped The Mall portfolio raise almost £4million! So a big thank you to everyone who donated or took part in one of our activities. Keep checking this page as we'll be posting our progress for 2011 throughout the year.

Events:

This year Mall employees are hoping to exceed our targets by taking part in various activities such as  The Race for Life, The East Lancashire Hospice's Starlight Walk, raffles and collections in The Mall plus much much more. Keep calling back to this page for a list of events which you could get involved in and help make a difference!

Ways YOU can help:

Donations - If you would like to make a personal or corporate donation please visit the Ask Me Point and liaise with one of our dedicated Ask Me Point Assistants or call the office on 01254 54455.

Items for sale - You can purchase Heart Strings or a Mall bag for good for a minimum donation of £1. 00.

Recycle - You can drop off old mobile phones, clothing, glasses and books at our recycle area opposite the Ask Me Point. Our mobile phones are recycled for cash with all proceeds going to the East Lancashire Hospice. Clothing and books are taken to the East Lancashire Hospice charity shop and glasses are recycled and given to 3rd world countries!

Our Mall Cares charity of the year 2011 is Blackburn Youth Zone.
