What's on - Family Fortunes family win BIG!
The competition saw six local families playing against each other in live games on The Mall! The games were played in front of Saturday shopper crowds and took place on a replica stage of the real ITV 1 gameshow - complete with host! Each family had the chance to win £400 on a Mall Spend Me Card on the day itself and each winning family from the three rounds were placed into a draw with the other 45 winning families from accross the country for a chance to win the star prize - the £10,000 car!
The 'Forsyth Clan' which was their family name on the 4th November 2007 when they played in our Family Fortunes game were the lucky ones and have walked away with the fantastic prize of a brand new £10,000 car!
Pat was 'over the moon' with excitement when she was told she had won and welcomed the car as a great addition to her birthday celebrations!
The family intend to share the car between them and when they do come to sell the car will share the money equally between the four of them! The family, pictured below, are from front: Pat Forsyth, husband John, son Anthony and his wife Caroline.
