What's on - EnviroMall..
What is EnviroMall?
The EnviroMall initiative, launched by The Mall three years ago in partnership with leading UK environment agencies
was put in place to assist shopping centers and their retailers, who currently consumer large amounts of energy and water and generate tonnes of waste, to improve their performance and reduce their impact on the environment. To find out about more about our commitments click here http://www.themall.co.uk/community/enviromall/about-enviromall.aspx
Get involved and pledge to make a difference. If you missed the opportunity to pledge in a Mall during EnviroMall Week, you still pledge online.

The World Land Trust.
The Mall Pavilions is also proud to be part of The Malls group initiative to support and join forces with The World Land Trust to help preserve the world's rain forest, so join The Mall Pavilions EnviroMall week and help support the cause. This year, and on an ongoing basis, The Mall will be using our new relationship with the World Land Trust to produce educational resource packs for teachers and school children to use in school lessons. The WLT education officer Kelly Jacobs is working closely with The Mall to produce the pack which specifically ties in to the National Curriculum. The DVD's will be Mall branded and will include fun, educational and informative - presentations, activity sheets, information and facts all of which are to be used in lessons.
If you're local school or school would like more information on how to sign up and receive this pack please contact The Ask Me Point amp.uxbridge@themall.co.uk

The Federation for Endangered Species.
The Mall pavilions are also supporting a local cause The Federation for Endangered Species. The Foundation For Endangered Species is a fully registered UK charity, whose objects are to protect and to promote the natural and physical environment. We are committed to stopping the Mass Extinction of the Species and tackling all of its causes.
The Federation for Endangered Species and Unesco also have in place a fantastic opportunity for schools - Andy Mydellton is a member of the UK Commission group for UNESCO Schools, and adviser to them on the fourth study theme of Environmental Concern. There are a number of ongoing projects such as the Wildlife Gardening and Animal feeding Station Project (WAFS).www.ffes.org.uk/unesco-schools.html
