Easter
Hop around the Shops in Romford
Families are invited to hop down to Romford on Easter Saturday 22 March between 11am and 4pm for a Family Funday packed with things to see and do and the chance for children to take away free gifts and win prizes.
Children can visit four shopping destinations in the town and collect Easter Bunny Ears, have their faces painted like chicks and bunnies, make Easter nests and Baskets and have them filled with mini chocolate eggs.The Easter bunny will be on hand to bring some Spring Cheer and there will be much March mahem from the Mad Hatter.
Because everyone loves chocolate we have invited top chocolatier Prudence State to demonstrate the sweet art of chocolate sculpting and she will create a unique "Romeo the Romford Rabbit!" which along with a giant Peter Rabbit toy will be the prize in an Easter Free Draw available to all the children that complete our Easter treasure Hunt by visiting the four Centres.
Adding to the fun will be an eggstavagant show by Bruce Airhead the top street entertainer who wowed audiences of Graham Norton's "When will I be famous". Bruce's show starts with him getting inside a giant balloon and emerging moments later dressed as a Spring Chicken.
