What's on - Team Mall 2008

As part of ongoing commitment to encourage excellence, The Mall has been supporting eight established and aspiring athletes from across a range of disciplines, experiences and age groups throughout Great Britain. These athletes included Gail Emms - Mixed doubles badminton, Peter Reed - Rowing, Pippa Wilson - Sailing, Darius Knight - table tennis, Gemma Gibbons - Judo, Neil Stirton - Rifle shooting, Shelly Woods - Wheelchair racer and Chris Cook - Swimming

Through Team Mall, The Mall aimed to promote grass roots sports throughout the Romford community, encouraging young people to get involved in sport. To further this commitment, The Mall Romford is delighted to be able to share in their athletes' success by supporting Havering Welcomes 2012 celebrations on the 28th September, where a whole host of free activities will be taking place across Romford including a fun run.

The Mall are proud to be part of this fantastic opportunity to support eight established and aspiring athlete's from Great Britain competing in this years Beijing Olympics 2008.
