What's on - Mall Managers take a leap of faith
On the 20th September Mall General Manager Peter Callagher and Marketing Manager Sarah de Courcy Rolls will be taking to the skies for a tandem skydive over Cambridgeshire all in the name of local childrens charity First Step.
They aim to raise at least £2000 between them which will help pre-school children with specal needs help develop and lead a better quality of life.
A few facts to let you know what we will have to endure,
- The rate of freefall may exceed 10,000ft/min, and under an open canopy 1,000ft/min.
- At 15,500ft there is a 40% reduction in available oxygen
- A tachycardia of 200bpm is not unusual in novices.
