What's on - Maidstone Mile

The Mall Chequers and Maidstone Town Centre is getting fully behind London 2012 by running a series of events running up to the biggest sporting event in our lifetime.

In celebration of the passing-through the town of the Olympic Torch, Maidstone Council, in conjunction with neighbouring Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, are delighted to announce the Maidstone Mile on July 20th 2012. This is the latest of a series of sporting events to be held in and around Maidstone to promote the Olympic ideals & bring sporting events to the town.

There is also a parallel agenda for this event, which is to raise both awareness and funds for Heart of Kent Hospice.

Maidstone Mile 20th July 2012
•6:00pm Fun run for all ages through Maidstone Town Centre
•7:00pm Swim in River Medway, Maidstone Town Centre
•Raising Awareness and Funds for Heart of Kent Hospice
•FREE parking for the event - we have it covered. When you sign up for the Maidstone Mile you will automatically be issues with a Mall Reward Me card. Not only will this card grant you free parking for the event but also exclusive offers to over 35 retailers in The Mall Chequers.
