What's on - Mall supports ‘The Dream Factory’ and helps grant wishes for local children
The Dream Factory was set up by Avril Mills who was inspired by her son who died of leukaemia aged nine. The charity aims to brighten the lives and encourage hope for children and young adults who have life limiting or life threatening conditions or severe disabilities, by granting wishes and dreams.
The wish could be to meet a celebrity, ride in a limousine, go to Lapland or just to ride on a pony, no wish is to small.
Throughout 2008 The Mall will be running events and fund-raising activities to help raise money for this worthwhile charity.
'We are delighted to be supporting such a fantastic new charity, and are looking forward to helping make lots of dreams come true.' Commented Andrea Marie, Marketing manager at The Mall Ilford.
Patrons of the charity include actors Michelle Collins, Patsy Palmer and Ray Winstone and Iain Duncan-Smith, MP for Chingford.
