What's on - Giant Advent Calendar Launch!
Father Christmas will officially launch our Giant Advent calendar, which stands at 17m in length and 3m in height on Monday 1st December!
The calendar, which is located by Woolworths in The Mall has had its 'windows' designed by local school children who were chosen by a panel of judges from hundreds of entries via a compeition held in the Lancashire Telegraph! Their artwork will be on display throughout the festive season as we open a window each day in December!
On the 1st December we will celebrate the launch with mince pies and Father Chrismtas will also give the winning children some special gifts and hand pick one child's name at random, who will win £1000 for their school this Christmas!
