What's on - Model Tots 2008 Winners are announced...
With over 4,000 entries for Model Tots 2008, the quality of entrants made it the most competitive child modeling competition staged in Bexleyheath since 1990. The standard was so high that judges awarded two winner's with both securing a contract with child modeling agent, The Elisabeth Smith Agency. The two winners were:
Kelis Obanya from Erith, winner of the 3 - 5 girl category
Teddy Ellis from Sidcup, winner of the 3 - 5 boy category
All eight category finalists gathered in The Civic Offices, when winners were announced by the Mayor of Bexleyheath, Councilor Nick O'Hare.
The winner's for each section are as follows:
0 - 1 Boy Harley Adams (London)
0 - 1 Girl Isobel Barnard (Sidcup)
1 - 2 Girl Keeva Hunt (Belvedere)
0 - 1 Boy Lewis Abba (Welling)
2 - 3 Girl Jemima James (Bexleyheath)
2 - 3 Boy Adefola Adeniyi (Belvedere)
3 - 5 Girl Kelis Obanya (Erith)
3 - 5 Boy Teddy Ellis (Sidcup)
Christine Barton, Marketing Manager at The Mall Bexleyheath said; 'Having missed a year due to the refurbishment of The Mall last year, we would like to thank all of the tots and parents who have helped make this competition such an enjoyable event, which captured the hearts and interest of so many local people within the community. The standards were high - and we look forward to celebrating the beautiful babies of Bexleyheath in the coming years'.
