Roadshow - Team Recruitment Terms and Conditions.

  1. No purchase necessary. For the chance to play in 'The Mall's Family Fortunes Roadshow', you need to organise a team of four people, then register your team's details online at www.themall.co.uk or via the 'Ask Me Point' in your local Mall.
  2. Team registration is open from 24th September 2007. The closing date for receipt of entries is 11.59pm on 20th October 2007 for shows at Wood Green, Ilford, Bristol, and Romford; 22nd October for shows at Sutton Coldfield, Norwich, Barnsley, Blackburn, and Preston; 29th October 2007 for shows at Camberley, Southampton, Maidstone, Epsom and Gloucester; 4th November 2007 for shows at Walthamstow and Luton.
  3. All teams submitted will be entered into a draw and picked at random to play in "The Mall Family Fortunes Roadshow".
  4. Entry is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except the employees, agents, their families or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
  5. One member of each team must adopt the position of "Team Leader" and as such will be responsible for organising all other "Team Members" and gaining their prior consent to be entered as "A Team".
  6. By entering "A Team" all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional materials.
  7. A "Team Leader" only has the right to enter the draw once.
  8. Entries must be submitted via the official "Entry Form" available from all participating Mall's or online at www.themall.co.uk
  9. An "Entry Form" will be deemed void if the four "Team Members' " details have not been entered in full and/or any of the four "Team Members" have not given their prior permission to the "Team Leader".
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries lost, delayed or damaged.
  11. Teams will be selected at random to play in the Roadshow. A winning "Entry Form" is only valid if the four people listed as "A Team" have previously agreed to, and are still willing to play on the previously specified date and time allocated by the Promoter after the draw.
  12. "The Mall's Family Fortune Roadshow" will only be taking place at participating Malls - see website for full details or ask at the Mall.
  13. If successful, the "Team Leader" will be contacted by telephone within 7 days of the closing date.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to void a winning entry if one or more of the "Team Members" cannot participate in the Roadshow at the elected time and place.

     

     

    Terms and Conditions for live show participation

  15. All teams picked to take part in the live "Roadshow will be required to play a live and derivative version of the Family Fortunes game show for 30 - 45 minutes in the Mall in front of a live audience (other shoppers). The Promoter reserves the right to change the format of the game and remove the allocation of spot prizes throughout the game.
  16. No prizes are guaranteed.
  17. The winning team of each "Live Gameshow" will be given a cash prize in the form of a Mall Gift Card, the value of which is not guaranteed. Winning teams are those that win the final "Big Money" round.
  18. All runners up will receive an appropriate "Runners up Prize".
  19. When the "Roadshow" is completed and all winning teams have been identified, these winning teams will be entered in to an overall prize draw to win a car. Only winning teams from the live Roadshow will have the right to be entered into this prize draw.
  20. The promoter reserves the right to alter the type of car which will be given away.
  21. There is no cash alternative to the car.
  22. The decision of the judges will be final.
  23. The winning team members names, counties and entries are available upon written request by sending a SAE to The Mall c/o Meteorite. 425 New Kings Road, London, SW6 4RN. Please specify which Promotion you are enquiring about.
  24. Winners may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition. Such publicity may include without limitation the entrant's name and/or likeness, voice, photographs and/or video footage of the entrant, biographical information provided by the entrants/winner and/or any statement made by them concerning the competition and/or the prize. Entrants agree that any or all such elements may be used by the Promoter in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as the Promoter in its sole discretion sees fit.
  25. These Terms and Conditions and the rights and obligations of the Promoter and entrants shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  26. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events arising beyond its control. Neither the promoter nor its agents are responsible for third party acts or omissions.
