All the big Summer movies of 2007 are out to buy on DVD, and we've picked out the best of the bunch.

Top of the list for the whole family has got to be long awaited Simpson's Movie, which was one of the biggest hits at the box office across the world last year. More than just a longer Simpsons episode, the movie is bigger and bolder with some truly hilarious moments. This is a must have if you're a fan of the TV show.

The Bourne franchise reinvented the spy film genre, giving us a hero that was a long way from the traditional gadgets and martini based James Bond. Bourne is the modern day bond, and all three films - The Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum - are adrenalin-fuelled classics.

Transformers is a modern-day action film based on the 1980's Hasbro toys of the same name. Most of the original characters are present, and Optimus Prime is even voiced by the original artist, Peter Cullen.

Another trilogy was completed in 2007 with the release of Shrek the third. Shrek, Puss in Boots and Donkey have all returned to help Shrek find another heir to the throne of Far Far Away.

2007 saw the come back of the teen musical with the release of High School Musical 2 and a new version of Hairspray - a film adaptation of a broadway show adaptation of the original Hairspray film from 1988. John Travolta deliverers a stellar performance as Edna Turnblad, in one of the best films of last year.
