Team Mall - Peter Reed

Double World Champion in the men's coxless four, Peter Reed is the rising star of British rowing - despite the fact that he only started rowing four years ago.

Peter first represented Great Britain at the under-23 World Championships whilst still a student, where his talent was first spotted on a gym rowing machine. Peter later earned an Oxford Blue whilst studying for a Masters, and helped Oxford to win the Boat Race comfortably in 2005.

Peter was selected for Great Britain's lead men's boat, along with Alex Partridge, Andrew Triggs-Hodge and Steve Williams MBE. The coxless four won the World Cup and took the World Championship Gold in Japan in 2005. Peter succeeded in defending his World Championship title at Windsor in August 2006, and is now going for gold at Beijing.

Peter is representing the following Malls, click to visit their What's On pages: Bristol; Gloucester.
