Team Mall - Neil Stirton

 

Aberdeen-born Neil Stirton took up shooting at the age of 12, and found his club- the Bon-Accord Rifle Club - in the good old Yellow Pages. Over the years, Neil has gone from strength to strength under the guidance of coach Adam Gordon, winning numerous club, county and national competitions and representing both Scotland and Great Britain on several occasions.

Neil holds both the Scottish and British Under 21 record for rifle shooting, and is currently one of three to represent Great Britain in the sport. Most recently, Neil took silver at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, making Olympic gold at Beijing seem ever more within reach.
