As part of this years EnviroMall week we're encouraging you to recycle your unwanted coats hangers, and we've got a competition to win a year's supply of locally produced fruit and veg.
Recycle your old coathangers
During EnviroMall Week, our aim is to collect and recycle 1/4 million unwanted coathangers and prevent them going to landfill sites. Please bring your unwanted hangers along to The Mall from 24th - 30th August and deposit in the bins provided. All types of hangers welcome.

- Almost 100 million of them go straight to landfill every year
- The average Briton has 67 coat hangers in their home and 18% of these aren't used

Calling all teachers!
