Enviromall

Enviromall is a partnership between The Mall and leading environmental organisations in the UK.  Together, we're working to devise an accreditation scheme to reduce the impact of shopping centres on the environment.

There are lots of things we can do to help protect the environment.  The Mall is encouraging everyone to turn over a new leaf and pledge to make a difference - It's our turn. 

• turnoff
• the lights when not in use 
• electrical devices when not needed
• the tap when brushing my teeth

• turnup
• at the shops and buy energy saving light bulbs
• at school with sandwiches in lunch box - not plastic bag

• turnin
• all waste paper, cans, plastic and glass for recycling
• old toys to charity for other children to re-use
• to a shower lover!

• turndown
• the washing machine to 30oC
• the thermostat by 1oC
• a lift to school or work - walk or take the bus instead
