The Mall Teams Up With Disney To Reward Shoppers With A Toy Story 3 Celebration

June 2010

To celebrate the release of the much anticipated film Toy Story 3 on 21st July, The Mall is working in partnership with Disney Studios to give shoppers an exciting opportunity when they spend at The Mall. As well as a chance to win some fantastic Disney prizes, The Mall is running a portfolio wide Toy Amnesty for shoppers to recycle their old toys.

The Mall's recently launched Reward Me scheme uses promotions such as this to reward shoppers for their loyalty. Between 16th and 31st July shoppers who spend £X at The Mall will be able to collect a free 'toy from The Mall's 'Ask Me Point' and Reward Me card holders will also be entered into a prize draw to win a variety of top Toy Story 3-related prizes and £3,000 of holiday vouchers.

Each of The Malls will also host a Toy Amnesty where shoppers can bring along their old toys to be donated to local children's charities. As part of The Mall Cares charitable programme this will be a great opportunity for The Mall and its shoppers to work together to support those families and children less fortunate within the community.

Sara Jones, Capital & Regional's National Operations & Marketing Manager [for marketing press]/Mark Bourgeois, Managing Director of Shopping Centres [for retail press] comments, "We're delighted to be partnering a major international company such as Disney Studios with this campaign, rewarding our valued customers while promoting Toy Story 3 and helping the local community through the Toy Amnesty. We want to make every trip to The Mall a rewarding experience, and this exciting promotion provides another way to make that possible."

X from Disney comments, "It's great to be working with such an enthusiastic partner as The Mall. The Fund's 17 centres offer us an ideal opportunity to let everyone know about the exciting 3D experience they'll have when they see Toy Story 3, as well as being able to treat some lucky shoppers to some fantastic Disney prizes."
